A visit to McMaster is the best way to learn more about the university and get a feel for our campus. You can meet students, staff and faculty, all who help define the distinct personality of the University. McMaster offers many opportunities to do this, from simply spending a couple of hours touring the campus to staying for a whole day and attending scheduled activities during one of our special visit days, or just exploring our Virtual Tours.

Street View — McMaster is among the first universities in Canada to have its campus walkways mapped by Google’s Street View project, which provides 360-degree, street-level photographic imagery from roads and paths all around the world. A campus tour takes approximately 90 minutes and includes visits to academic areas, a library, student service areas, and one residence building. It’s the best way to find out more about the university, get a feel for the campus, and meet people – students, staff and faculty. Our tour guides (current McMaster students)
are eager to show visitors the campus and share their experiences with you.

Come explore our campus on a general tour led by a current student. Registration will be required as spaces are limited. - May@Mac
May @ Mac is our annual open house. The open house includes campus tours, special facility tours, sample lectures, lab demonstrations and opportunities to speak with professors, staff and students. - Fall Preview
Fall Preview is an opportunity for prospective students to speak with staff, students and several student services representatives. This event also features guided campus tours and several program information seminars.
