Paying Your Fees

Timeline
MoneyAfter a high school student submits an application for (undergraduate) admission, there are currently no additional upfront fees or payments that are required at McMaster. Students interested in residence will be required to submit a deposit in late May/early June; however, there are no additional registration/tuition deposits required.

Once a student accepts an offer of admission to attend McMaster, s/he will then proceed with the enrollment/registration process. During the registration process, new students will be required to complete McMaster’s electronic “Payment Agreement Form.”

The due date for a student’s first and subsequent payments will be based on the option selected on the Payment Agreement Form. The primary options available on the payment agreement form are:

  • Lump Sum (full payment usually due in late August)
  • Installment (payments made on a pre-determined schedule/monthly basis)
  • OSAP (payment due based on the OSAP release schedule; 60% in September & 40% in January of the school year).

Specific questions regarding payments & payment methods should be directed to McMaster’s Student Accounts & Cashier’s Office.
