McMaster’s Scholarships/Honours Awards are automatic and do not require a separate application. Scholarship values are based on a student’s final admission average to program.
Students completing their high school credentials in Canada or Canadian citizens/Permanent Residents completing high school outside of Canada are eligible for these awards provided that they meet the academic criteria. The chart below outlines the scholarship program for students entering McMaster in September 2012.

- External Scholarships
While McMaster offers a number of scholarships to help offset the cost of university, it is worthwhile to explore other scholarship sources to help fund your post-secondary education. Many organizations (e.g. the employer of student or his/her parents) may offer third party scholarships for post-secondary education. The 30% off Ontario Tuition Grant (OTG) is a NEW Ontario government grant for full-time undergraduate university and college students.

OSAP’s Queen Elizabeth II (Aiming for the Top) Scholarships
The Queen Elizabeth II (Aiming for the Top) Scholarship has been discontinued by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and will not be available to students entering post-secondary education in September 2012.
